SUMMARY:Annual Bridges and Connections International Sculpture Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The Symposium kicks off on September 13th with an opening recep
 tion and a blues concert that evening. During the week\, you can observe t
 he sculptors at work up at the Weidman Studio on the hill. Dine with the a
 rtists by volunteering to bring lunch or dinner. Watch for other activitie
 s on the calendar as it gets closer\, such as a panel discussion with gues
 t speakers and an Artists' Showcase where the participating sculptors pres
 ent their previous works\, methods and inspiration. The Closing Ceremony o
 n October 5th features a walking tour to visit the three new sculptures in
  place along the trails and the evening wraps up with a special funk conce
 rt.
