SUMMARY:Lino Block Printing Workshop - Intermediate
DESCRIPTION:With an understanding of basic linoleum block printing\, come e
 xplore a method of using multiple colors. Puzzling together a block or mul
 tiple carvings to make a finished print. Possibly collaborate with others 
 in the class to make pieces. All tools and supplies provided.\n\nThis work
 shop will be led by Xena Lopriore\, an artist who works with linocut print
 s and other media. You may have seen the cards she made of two of the AIA 
 sculptures\, The Phoenix and She Lifted Her Heart and Floated Away\, in th
 e Welcome Center. She is also a Volunteer in the Welcome Center and the Ar
 t Gallery at the Andres Institute of Art.\n\nThe class is open to particip
 ants 12 years of age (with adult) through adult.
