Andres Institute of Art is conducting a Remote Iron Melt fundraiser. You pickup a mold, take it home and scratch in your design, then return it. AIA will then take the molds to the foundery, and return your cast iron art for you to pick up.
The drop off location is at the AIA visitor/Art Center (Formerly Big Bear Lodge) 106 Route 13, Brookline, NH
Times are 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Carved Mold Drop Off Date is: October 15
- The pour will happen at Green Foundry in Maine
- Completed Iron Cast Pick Up is on October 22, 24
The response has been Fantastic!! Unfortunately, even though we have maximized the capacity of our foundry, the Fall 2020 Remote Iron Melt is sold out. We plan to repeat this Remote Iron Melt event periodically.
