You won’t want to miss the Soggy Po Boys band – former winners of the New England Music Awards as Roots Act of the Year – this band brings a wealth of talent to the stage! This amazing New England-based band is dedicated to spreading the joy of New Orleans music. Formed in 2012, they’ve become known for their energetic performances that blend traditional New Orleans jazz with Caribbean tunes, Meters funk, soul, and brass band/street beat music. The Soggy Po Boys are a creative and highly proficient group of musicians who continue to spread their vibrant sound across the Northeast and beyond, making New Orleans music accessible and fun for audiences of all kinds.
Tickets are general admission, table seating. The audience is limited to approximately 100 people. Get dinner downstairs at Brookline’s Finest, or one of the many fine establishments here in Brookline, Hollis and surrounding towns – or bring your own snacks from home. Outside beverages are not allowed – We off beverage service of wine, beer, soda and water is provided with donation requested with proceeds benefitting the art, nature and events at the Andres Institute of Art. Shows are upstairs in the Welcome Center, in the Big Bear Lodge performance center on the second floor. Elevator is available. Please take a few minutes to visit the Welcome Center downstairs to learn about the AIA sculpture park and annual symposium. There are nine concerts in the 2025 Act I Series.
