Join us on November 15th at 7PM when the Ballou Brothers Band make their return to Big Bear Lodge!

The Ballou Brothers Band was formed around 1975 by Dave and Matt Ballou with Mark “Bird” Partridge, Shawn Bosquet and Ben Chandler. Adding Deane Ballou around 1979, Gary Young 1982 and Gary Blaisdell 1990, the current line-up was formed. Along with sets of their original music mixed with tight cover songs you will see a skilled and precise performance that can only be built from forty plus years of playing together. We are excited to welcome back this band, here last October as well as “back in the day” on the Big Bear Lodge stage.

Concerts are upstairs at the AIA Welcome Center, formerly known as the Big Bear Lodge. The room is rustic, cozy and acoustically resonant. It features all table-seating with the audience limited to about 100 guests. Beverage service is available with donation requested. State Law does not permit us to allow outside alcoholic beverages into the event. Food is available downstairs at Brookline’s Finest or bring in take-out or snacks from home. An elevator is available from the first floor AIA Gallery. Come early to hike the Sculpture Park, ten miles of trails and over 120 sculptures. The park is open to the public daily for free (donation requested) and events such as the concerts help raise funds for art, nature and mission of the AIA. Ducks for Cancer Charity will be in the house with a merch/donation table. Please consider supporting this amazing local charity that assists cancer patients.

All proceeds from the Concerts in Big Bear Lodge go to help support the mission of the Andres Institute of Art: bringing people, nature, music and art together to inspire, connect build community.
