Georgia for the United States.  Since coming to the U.S. as an “outstanding artist” in 1994, Batu has
become a US citizen. He has continued his career as an artist and teacher.  He has taught sculpture
and drawing at several U.S. universities.

Over the last decade Batu has won numerous sculpture competitions throughout the world,
participated in  sculpture exhibits and symposiums in the USA, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Great Britain,
Austria, Netherlands, China, Greece, Turkey, India, Russia, and Georgia.  His works are held in
museums, private collections, and in permanent outdoor displays in the United States, Great
Britain, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, and Georgia.
