The Symposium kicks off on September 13th with an opening reception and a blues concert that evening. During the week, you can observe the sculptors at work up at the Weidman Studio on the hill. Dine with the artists by volunteering to bring lunch or dinner. Watch for other activities on the calendar as it gets closer, such as a panel discussion with guest speakers and an Artists’ Showcase where the participating sculptors present their previous works, methods and inspiration. The Closing Ceremony on October 5th features a walking tour to visit the three new sculptures in place along the trails and the evening wraps up with a special funk concert.
