Join us on Thursday evening, October 23rd – 7pm-9pm for an engaging show – Same Ships, Different Boat
Experience stories of some of the people who make America what it is — including those that often fly under the radar of history books. The show is performed by a world-class quintet of multiethnic, multiracial Americans. With stories from Chinese Americans at Angel Island to Ottoman Jewish immigrants, along with music and song spanning lyrical American Blues to Ottoman Jewish cantigas in the endangered language of Ladino, Different Ships, Same Boat offers a stirring exploration of the joys, tensions and complexities of who we are, and who we wish to be, to ourselves and to each other.
