With an understanding of basic linoleum block printing, come explore a method of using multiple colors. Puzzling together a block or multiple carvings to make a finished print. Possibly collaborate with others in the class to make pieces. All tools and supplies provided.
This workshop will be led by Xena Lopriore, an artist who works with linocut prints and other media. You may have seen the cards she made of two of the AIA sculptures, The Phoenix and She Lifted Her Heart and Floated Away, in the Welcome Center. She is also a Volunteer in the Welcome Center and the Art Gallery at the Andres Institute of Art.
The class is open to participants 12 years of age (with adult) through adult.
